@Im_Tomu I mean let's be fair. Clair Obscur E33 and Yakuza 7 showed that turn based JRPG can go a really long way - even winning GOTY. And for once everyone were happy about it unlike previous 3 years of the Awards show

Agreed. Not only for specifically under RPG, all turn-based variants including like XCOM will always have very dedicated player and won't fade away. Afterall, people still love turn-based like anyone love Dungeon and Dragons.

@NuketownStan From what I saw about his vid about MW2019, it wasn't that hard of a glaze. And from what I know everyone's been on the same page. People like MW2019 out of nostalgia and because it was the first game in the perfect storm at the time which was visually and aesthetically good.
