@azizkavish I don't understand. A cute cop finds a woman cute, shares his number with her and that's wrong, why?

@5minute_witness @CSUNSHINE Why not? It bails out companies all the time. Trump's entire presidency is about killing the competition. How's that not bailing out companies? It's just before bankruptcy instead of after.
English

@CSUNSHINE Blame Elizabeth Warren, who blocked JetBlue from acquiring it during the Biden administration.
The Federal Government should not bail out failing businesses.

@KjdSingh @manas_muduli People steal dustbins and even if there are dustbins nearby, they purposely throw it on the road. Some people are just sadistic and most are just apathetic. Japan barely has any public dustbins, yet their roads aren't filthy like ours.
English

@manas_muduli What they could have actually done is install dustbins conviniently for people to use everywhere rather than going garbage picking. What happens when they don't pick the garbage.

While tourists dumped garbage on a charging point stand in Manali, here is what Sambalpur Municipality in Odisha did to tackle littering.
They identified offenders through CCTV and made them clean up the mess themselves.
Accountability like this makes people think twice before littering again.

@willintochilln @pubity For their lifetime? They have enough for 7 generations!
English

@pubity Indian politicians are dumb & uneducated
They don't understand increasing temperature & losing water effects
They don't understand they already hv enough black money for their lifetime
They just allow these data centres in their states without realising the consequences
English

@IndianGems_ You see those boxes on the sides (drains) and the slopy road? India will never invest in them because they want roads to be broken in a year or two so that they can get another contract and steal half of it.
English

@GauravPandhi Dude, it's just a normal test which would've disrupted your life for 2 minutes. Think how much this would be helpful when there's an earthquake/tsunami/missile warning and how many lives it'd save. India is already one of the last major countries to implement these alerts.

@vignettevarda These guys deface railway stations, bus stops and government buildings with their posters and ugly graffiti.

WE LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE MOBILE THEFT AND VEHICLE THEFT ESPECIALLY TWO WHEELER THEFT IS A GONE CASE.
WE FILE FIR JUST TO HAVE A PROOF THAT IF SOMEONE ELSE COMMITS CRIME USING OUR PHONE OR VEHICLE WE CAN SHOW THAT WE LOST IT. IT WAS STOLEN AND FIR IS THE PROOF.
NO ONE WHILE FILING AN FIR BELIEVES THAT POLICE WILL HELP RECOVER IT AND FIND THE THIEVES.

@xuser9161 @citizen_kau Oh, I didn't know. In Chennai and probably RoTN (TNEB), they don't charge us for changing meters.
English

@rickaustin54 @citizen_kau Every single penny while installing a smart meter is paid by consumer itself. Do not things its department that paid. Installing 1KW of smart meter require initial amount of aprox. 2800Rs (Processing fees 50Rs, Security deposit 100Rs, Smart Meter cost 1200-1400 etc.). (UPPCL)

@Cereal_fan This mentality is the reason India is dependent on foreign countries for even a toothpick.

I have helped a relative's wife get death settlement from a bank recently. I will tell you what horrific experience it has been.
The man had a bank account and a CIF, his wife, the FD nominee also had a CIF with the same bank. Nominee registered. FD had matured too

People are getting emotional and saying that ₹20,000 is not a big amount for a bank, and that they should have given it to Jitu Munda. But rules are rules. If a bank starts giving money without a death certificate and proper documents, then anyone could withdraw their relative’s money and commit fraud. In that case, people would blame the bank for releasing funds without verification. And the most important point is that taking his sister's body like this just for ₹20,000, without showing any respect for the dignity of the dead - that too his own sister - is not right.

As a country with tropical climate, India needs mass cooling solutions.
Almost 6 decades ago, Lee Kuan Yew started completely air conditioning Singapore. He
credited air conditioning as one of the most significant factors in the nation's success. He believed that physical comfort was a prerequisite for high productivity in the tropics.
To quote Lee Kuan Yew:
"Air conditioning was a most important invention for us, perhaps one of the signal inventions of history. It changed the nature of civilization by making development possible in the tropics. Without air conditioning, you can only work in the early morning hours or dusk.
The first thing I did upon becoming Prime Minister was to install air conditioners in buildings where the civil service worked. This was the key to public efficiency."
Yesterday our central minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that he doesn't use AC in his car, he doesn't sit in air conditioned environment and he just keeps an onion in the pocket to beat the heat. He implied that is an easy and inexpensive way to beat the heat.
It is well known that Scindia's home, office and luxury cars are equipped with AC.
Telling ordinary Indians to keep an onion in the pocket to beat the heat is mockery of our people.
We don't have what is required to become a Singapore. Our minister is no Lee Kuan Yew. The least Scindia can do is not to talk this kind of unscientific crap.
There is no slightest evidence that keeping an onion in your pocket would help you beat the heat.
