Wow this was deliberate by Appleby to stiff everyone. Farbridge has never been near the lead in his life and on paper the Appleby pair are the only 2 speeds. This was the most fixed race I've EVER seen. I don't advocate chalk but this was a horribly fixed boat race.

@andyserling and this is why junior Alvarado will NEVER be a top rider. Yes this horse was flying but junior put the whip away at 16th pole thinking he was home and right after the wire he looks outside him and realized he blew it.
