Made it from London to Frankfurt. Now taking the train to Stuttgart. Yes I know I could have flown.

We are now on board for Chicago! 4 hours later and missed connections but we are on our way. The irony is we paid extra to change our flight to a much earlier flight to avoid this issue. Our original flight would have worked just fine and we would have made our connection.

Supposed to fly out of DM at 12:53 on United. I know what your thinking. Small hydraulic leak. 5 min to fix, then 36, 60, 120 then new plane coming 4 1/2 hours later. Missing connection to Frankfurt. Now flying through London. Arriving 6 1/2 hours later. Not a way to start!

Happy Birthday to my son T.J. and congratulations on his 5th place finish in the Maytag 70.3 Steelhead in Benton Harbor, MI. Nice finish after a season of recovery!

Tyson is going Ziplining. I was until they told me I had to climb a 75’ pole. Not sure that is for me.
