The biggest secret to being successful in animation is knowing your page rate. I have a 7 hour per page rate. If I’m going to quit my job and board a pilot, I know I need 22 7 hour days or 4.5 weeks. If I’m boarding 1 page at night after work I know I need 7 one hour sessions.
