🚨💣BREAKING: Josh Kroenke hints Arteta has handed over his TOP 5 summer priorities and the club will go all out!
In a wide-ranging interview, Arsenal’s co-chairman suggested Mikel Arteta has submitted a clear list of five key targets he wants to transform the squad. Kroenke said:
🗣️We’re fully aligned with Mikel. He’s given us a focused list of players he believes will take us to the next level. We’ll do everything within our power financially and structurally to deliver them. The ambition is clear: we want to dominate, not just compete.”
The reported Top 5 priorities:
1. Bruno Guimarães – The midfield general to control games
2. Julian Alvarez – Proven winner and versatile attacker
3. Morgan Rogers – Creative spark and physical presence
4. Bradley Barcola – Explosive young winger for the future
5. Christos Tzolis – Immediate left-wing quality and goals.
Big vibes this summer. The Kroenke-Arteta-Berta trio means business. Thoughts gunners? #AFC
Patience makes sense while reported Arsenal targets Bradley Barcola or Morgan Rogers remain at the World Cup. A quick signing means little when the right player is still unavailable. I would rather we wait for quality than chase an early headline.
@MelvinaGunner Yes but 35 million is nowhere near Villa needs if they want to spend. Trust me they have to sell a Bigger asset and Rodgers fits it . Dont forget Onana Will need to be coverd also
Fair point on the spending needs, but the Tielemans sale is more impactful than just they still have to sell big. It’s near pure profit that improves their rolling financial position and squad cost calculations. Villa already replaced him (Manzambi) and can still do some business without offloading Rogers at any cost. This makes them stubborn, not desperate.
🚨 Manchester United activating Youri Tielemans £35m release clause has just thrown a massive wrench into Arsenal pursuit of Morgan Rogers.
Because Tielemans arrived at Villa Park on a free transfer in 2023, his £35m sale represents pure amortized profit on Villa’s books.
Villa were fined £19.4m by UEFA for a squad cost breach, but with Tielemans leaving and PSG bidding for Lucas Digne, their financial pressure is completely gone.
This paradoxically makes Villa even more stubborn on Rogers' record £130m asking price.
Berta holds progress on personal terms with Rogers’ camp, but we must decide whether to meet their massive valuation or walk away.
