Got paid my bonus today. Half my paycheck went to taxes. Knowing the specifics of the government corruption- seeing it stolen from my paycheck sparks a different, deeper anger.

Talking to a blue-collar business owner right now. Quote: "Some of my guys are making $1,500 per week. $75k per year. And for the first time in their lives, they feel like they can't afford groceries." If you're on the left and you don't think this is why Kamala lost, I don't know what to say to you at this point. You simply don't get it. If working-class guys putting in 50 hard hours a week and making solid middle-class pay feel like their families can't afford trips to the grocery store, and if you don't have a REAL solution for them, you are going to lose the election. And you will have deserved every bit of your defeat. Note that the following are NOT solutions: - Writing NYT articles about how inflation isn't actually a real problem (can you say "gaslighting"?) - Blaming Russia ("Putin price hike," are you freaking kidding me?) - Scapegoating "greedy corporations" (I worked for a Fortune 500 food/agriculture company and I promise you, they were plenty greedy long before inflation hit) - Advocating for any type of economically illiterate socialistic idea like price controls You have to offer people REAL solutions, and you have to have the credibility do make voters believe you could implement them successfully. Trump did this; Kamala couldn't. And she lost accordingly. She didn't lose because of disinformation, racism, misogyny, uneducated Trump voters, or any of the other bullshit reasons MSNBC and NPR are putting forth as coping mechanisms to avoid having to address the failures of the Harris campaign, the DNC, and the left-wing media. She lost because voters blamed her for the inflation and illegal immigration crises. Biden made the problems worse, Kamala didn't have solutions, and voters knew it. It really is that simple. Democrats: You can learn from this. Or you can waste another billion dollars four years from now and suffer the same fate. Your call.
