Bring back nuance. Our future is brighter when it’s not black and white. Gen Z woman, MAGA ….apparently I also post about anime and video games.

Iryna, Unfinished. This isn’t my normal art style, I love heavy black ink and punk motifs. But this was born from the image of Iryna herself. Something softer, that never got to be fully realized. Her and I share a few traits in common: 1) She was an artist 2) She loved America. 3) She was a white girl in her twenties I forced myself to watch every minute of her death, in some attempt to share the burden with her. I am angry, I am filled with seething rage. When I heard her family wished for her to be buried here, I sobbed. My heart is broken No more of this. Iryna death must mean something. We cannot continue down the path our society has been on any longer. We failed her in her life, we cannot fail her in her death. Let us memorialize her in our art. #IrynaZarutska #artforIryna

So the justification for the demographic replacement in America is “we’re a nation of immigrants” and “anyone can be an American” (neither of these are true) What then is the justification for the same thing happening in Europe and the UK? Are they “nations of immigrants”?

Actually it’s not healthy to believe that you must be a “loser” in order to maintain your moral and intellectual integrity. That’s a defect, not a virtue. We need warriors and scholars, who work together toward the same ends.
Aaron@Rongwrong_

@christopherrufo You need both, scrappy warriors (Chris Rufo) and beautiful losers (Elizabeth Corey). If conservatives were all scrappy warriors or all beautiful losers it would be a nightmare.

Dear @POTUS, Members of Your Administration, and the American People, My heart is still pounding a mile a minute as I write this through tears of gratitude that keep escaping. Yesterday, after eight long, soul-crushing years of separation, heartbreak, and sleepless nights, I stood at a US airport gate and finally wrapped my arms around my son. He stepped off that plane from South Africa, and in that single moment, every prayer I whispered in the dark, every tear I choked back, every fear that I might never see him again; it all shattered into pure, overwhelming joy. I cannot put into words what it felt like to see his plane come in. Eight years. Eight years of birthdays missed, of phone calls cut short by bad connections and broken hearts, of wondering if the next update would be the one that crushed me forever. The distance was a knife that never stopped twisting. But yesterday, America, YOUR America, brought my boy home. President Trump, to you and your Administration I owe a debt I can never repay. Thank you for believing that families belong together. Thank you for fighting to keep the refugee program alive as a true lifeline for those who have nowhere else to turn. Thank you for refusing to let bureaucracy and politics stand between a parent and a child who had waited far too long. Your leadership turned a hopeless nightmare into the most beautiful reunion of my life. And to the American people; every single one of you who voted, who prayed, who stood firm, I thank you from the bottom of my soul. You didn’t just bring my son home; you reminded me that this nation still believes in second chances, in mercy, and in the unbreakable power of family. Your compassion gave us back our future. Now hear me clearly. We are not here to take. We are here to stand. A part of my family came home to the greatest country on earth, and we will fight side by side with you against every force, foreign or domestic, that seeks to destroy her. We will fight for her borders, her values, her freedom, and her future. We will fight for the American Dream that just saved our family. We will never forget what you did for us, and we will spend every day proving that we are worthy of the grace you showed us. America, you didn’t just reunite one family, you reignited a fire in our hearts that will burn for this country until our last breath. With eternal gratitude, unbreakable loyalty, and tears of joy still finding its way down my cheeks, Us, the Amerikaners ❤️🇺🇸🙏✝️

Leftists are really impressed by this “factored in” argument. Imagine that I need my bike to get to work, but people keep stealing it, so next month when I do my budget I include a line for buying a new bike. Now it’s “factored in“ and, according to leftists, morally neutral.

The strength of our nation is ultimately dependent on the atomic building blocks of our country: men, women, children, and their families. We need to reempower and protect the capital formation of small business and individual men. The era of feminized bureaucracy must end.

This is what my parent chose for me, didn’t take antibiotics (I had been given antibiotics for stupid reasons many times before and my parents were wary, they did their best, I was 8), tested negative for Lyme for years with all the symptoms. Doctors baffled, thousands of dollars, health failing me. Bed ridden for years. Until I paid out of pocket for the real test, the ones they give the celebrities and royal family, to discover I had been suffering with it for 15 years and had borderline neurological damage. Take the fucking antibiotics. Or you will lose years of your life.
J͎Λ͎Y͎@TakeThiamine

A single 200 mg dose of doxycycline within 72 hours of removal of a deer tick can save you from a life of Lyme disease. If symptoms appear later, a full 10-day course is still highly effective. The mechanism is well-established. Take the antibiotics.

Actually no. The well-established mechanism is based on decades of cumulative evidence. It’s textbook pharmacology. Doxycycline binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and blocks aminoacyl-tRNA attachment to the A site, halting translation elongation and protein synthesis. This is the same mechanism for the entire tetracycline class, and Borrelia burgdorferi is well-established as susceptible. I will concede that “a single dose” was too absolute (even though I said “can”). However, a single 200 mg dose is still the official CDC and IDSA guideline recommendation for prophylaxis. I’d opt for 10 days on regardless of how early it was caught. Yes, the study showed more nausea/vomiting in the doxycycline group. That’s a mild, transient side effect for most people. It does not refute efficacy. The trial showed a clear drop in Lyme disease with doxycycline vs. placebo. Subsequent reviews and meta-analyses have reinforced that finding in high-risk scenarios. You advocate for riding out sepsis, so I can’t imagine you’re really concerned about some nausea. There is no reason not to take doxycycline in this case. I’m all for not abusing antibiotics—and they are over-prescribed, and there are many I would never take (especially fluoroquinolones)—but doxycycline is not even close to a dangerous choice here. The upside is huge. The downside is a tummy ache.
⚡️🌞 Sol Brah 🌞🐬@SolBrah

The “well established mechanism” is based on this study in 2001. 482 tick removals in last 72 hours. Given 200mg doxy or placebo Doxy group 1/235 people got a rash Placebo 8/247 got a rash Adverse effects 3x MORE common with those that took Doxy Is this “preventing Lyme?”

No. Tick in head at age 8. No antibiotics, tested negative. Official CDC test is only correct like 1/10 times. Official diagnosis at age 23- 3/5 strands of Lyme: Bartonella, Babesiosis, Lyme. Began two years of oral antibiotics. Managed to kick the Babesiosis which is the weakest of the three. Heath continued to decline during this time. I did IV ketamine treatment which helped with some of the brain issues and constant pain. Didn’t solve anything, just a band aid. I eventually did SOT treatment which I am in the midst of, combined with 10 rounds of Ozone blood infusion. I test to see if it’s still in my system in 6 months (June ish) but I went from basically bed ridden to back to the gym, reading and doing art again, working full time, etc. cleared fatigue, brain fog, mental health issues, joint and nerve pain, digestive issues, etc. The antibiotics only work if you are able to get them in your system immediately, after 10 years Lyme becomes a completely different beast and it’s completely hidden in the system. I’ve seen people spend tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to get rid of late diagnose Lyme, SOT is a newer treatment but it seems to be working for those people who have tried everything.
