The market has been quite high on Jodar in recent months, which isn’t too surprising given how much bookmakers tend to favor rising young talents. He already has some high-profile wins (Norrie, Machac), some dominant wins against lesser names too, and his potential is clearly high.
However, my concern is the level of fluctuation in his performances — he’s been a bit too on and off, and his floor hasn’t really been established yet. For that reason, it’s hard for me to justify him being priced this short against a respected opponent like Muller in these conditions. Feel like this is a sneaky spot for the Frenchman who has the tools to grind down the youngster.
