@gabriel1 my guess is 1% is probably overselling it. thats around high diamond I think. there's massive talent differences between that and the higher you go, which seems to hold true in every game I've observed

you think career is competitive? everyone does the same thing and no one knows the feedback loops. gaming is actually competitive, everyone spends all their time on it and knows all the feedback loops. you can easily make 500k$ cash yr if you are top 1% of a big game

@gabriel1 I am top 1% (was higher on my prime, I became washed) League ranked ladder and I can assure you it is the most valuable learning experience I've could have had as a teen/early adult, the process to getting there or even lower has so many lessons to learn.

like do you realize how hard it is to be top 1% at league? you are against millions of people who know exactly what do to to improve, and they play most their awake time. it's so much harder than any economically valuable task
