@cavsfortheland @KevinOConnor It’s true and we should have high expectations. They don’t stink by any means, but can they win a ship as currently put together? No shot! Our fans deserve better.
English

@rioward7 @KevinOConnor Every word of your post could be 100% true and it still wouldn’t mean the Cavs “stink”.
English

LeBron made the right choice of the East options. The Cavaliers stink, and the Heat are a clunky fit with no shooting. The Sixers have top-end talent with Jaylen Brown joining Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid plus upside young players like VJ Edgecombe and Labaron Philon. Embiid’s health is obviously a concern but they don’t need Prime Embiid to contend and the roster is certainly far better than what Cleveland and Miami could offer.
English

@cavsfortheland @KevinOConnor I’m a Cavs fans and they are not a legitimate title contender. We should have higher expectations. They are mentally and physically weak when it comes to playoff basketball. Sitting in the stands against the Pacers and Knicks the last two years the difference was tangible.
English

@KevinOConnor Team who made the conference finals last season and returns all of their core players “stinks”? Ok then.
English

@ziggystyle @DylanMckneely I think allowing him to be a UFA at the end of the deal is exactly what you said in the CBJs eyes, a “prove it” deal.
English

@DylanMckneely Depends on the scenario. It could be on the player just wanting a bridge deal to get to UFA, or a better payday sooner. It could be the team wanting a prove it deal.

#CBJ and Cole Sillinger avoid arbitration as they sign him to a 3 year contract with an AAV of $4.625M

English

@MerlinMurls @Aportzline UFA at and of this deal. This cite is awesome to check out team caps and individual contracts. puckpedia.com/team/columbus-…
English

@Aportzline So he is still an RFA when this expires?
English

#CBJ and restricted free agent Cole Sillinger have avoided arbitration with a three-year, $13.875 million contract. Salary cap is $4.625 million
English

@mark_scheig @CBJcenter If they both had to travel and expenses with that, I would be surprised if a deal is done before arbitration. Someone is really not moving far off their side.
English

Down to 60 minutes left until Jet Greaves' scheduled arbitration hearing in Toronto.
As a reminder, the sides can continue to negotiate on a new deal up until the start of the hearing. But once the hearing starts, it's in the arbitrator's hands. #CBJ

@CoasterK24 I remember riding it the year it opened and have about every year since. Truly amazing!
English

@IkeOnMic_ @PatMcAfeeShow @JoshCribbs16 Cribbs was way more of a prolific kick returner. I thought the same thing, but this is punt returner.

Here are the guys that are gonna be pissed 😂😂

@TheBuckeyeNut @DylanEveryday TN offer is too rich. OSU always has great backs and has a good team with tons of talent…. something TN doesn’t have. He can go there and win 7-8 games and if he wants to win, then he transfers. Giving a high schooler that kind of cash and a PJ pisses the existing room off.
English

@TheBuckeyeNut It was inevitable and too much money to pass up. Glad they made them use white. Look how ridiculous the Wisconsin patch looks!

The Miami Heat sounded the alarm for a false alarm after a link to a scheduled live stream for a LeBron James introductory news conference surfaced on the team's YouTube page beaconjournal.com/story/sports/p…
English

@EmmanuelAcho Had no idea he was on NFL live. I could have easily named the other 4, unlike yourself. Clark is a well spoken extremely smart analyst, but going at the throat of anyone, especially a colleague on air was his death knell.
English

And nobody was watching NFL Live then.
Ryan Clark built NFL Live into the juggernaut it is today (along with Rutledge, Mina, and Spears), he didn’t *ideate* NFL Live, there’s a difference.
Dan Zaksheske@RealDanZak
There are so many false things in this clip, but by far the funniest line is that Ryan Clark "built" NFL Live. NFL Live premiered in 1998 when Clark was 18 years old, four years before he entered the NFL and 17 years before he joined ESPN.

@WillCorker @NotJ0NRoth It’s FAR from perfect, but glad to see athletes making money. They need to get rid of paying recruits that haven’t proved a thing and only allow one transfer before they need to sit out a year. Seeing kids play at 3-4 schools during their careers is wild. Bilas knows the game
English

@rioward7 @NotJ0NRoth He pushed for NIL and transfer portal which has ruined the continuity of college sports.
English

@EricTaylor415 True. My two big shockers to be let go were Karl Ravech and Jay Bilas.
