The Matos signature scandal is not evidence that our elections are unsafe. The scandal is evidence that our elections *are* safe.
The fraud was caught & an investigation will result in action, because that’s exactly how the system was designed: to catch fraud.

Today, RI will celebrate #Juneteenth as a state holiday thanks to a bill by @bhenriesri - the bill is being signed today at 1:30pm at the RI State House.

States that have raised their minimum wage have lower gender disparities in income. The gender pay gap is, on average, almost 25% wider in the 21 states that have not raised the minimum wage above the federal level.
