@PAHoyeck The irony is that "word salad" originally described a real clinical symptom; disorganised speech in schizophrenia. now it just means "I didn't read it properly."

I'm so happy the expression "word salad" is now a part of the everyday lexion. I really think we needed to make it easier for people to dismiss things they have trouble understanding without engaging with them.

@shinemeriz The biggest risk of AI isn’t replacing your job. It’s eroding your ability to distinguish what’s true, degrading skills you stop practicing, and concentrating power in the hands of those who control the models. The job question is a distraction from the harder ones.

@shinemeriz The research says AI displaces tasks before it displaces jobs, and historically new tech creates more roles than it eliminates. But the transition isn’t painless. The real power isn’t replacement, it’s leverage: those who work with it pull ahead, those who ignore it fall behind.
