Automatic terminal information service (ATIS) Manchester Airport. Runway information for pilots as they approach the airport. Very quiet and not the strongest signal but the radius of their transmission is but a few miles. Astounding that I’m receiving it here!!!!

@riprap1 "Hooks in you" is my favourite marillion from the new lineup but I love incommunicado. If you haven't listened to the newer stuff "uninvited guest" , "cover my eyes" , "holidays in eden". Brilliant band to see live. By new I mean relatively as I realise they are 1991 songs lol

@iggypopbarkers Permanently hooked up to the x-30 yes. The receive is so sensitive it pulls in stuff my other whistler scanner didn’t hear and that one was a rolls Royce radio as well 🤣

@riprap1 In the winter a whole block of butter can take up to 30 seconds to soften but usually about 5-10 seconds otherwise
