Coming out of stanford in 2018, I had decided to go the hardware route. Everyone at stanford wanted to crypto, saas, social apps or pe bros wanted to do d2c at gsb.
My Reasoning for hardware
- pc in the world stagnant at 2bn - not a big headroom to grow
- mobile phones with 80 percent of population
- avg person uses 60 apps frequently and only about 1 changes every year and a million plus launch every year,
Next big thing
- chips in everything around us - factories, cars, speakers, traffic lights - everything.
I worked at Samsara for almost 2 yrs learning the chops from some of the best and took a team and built @spot_ai - visual intelligence for physical world.
We are 6 yrs in, 1000 enterprises, early but absolutely crushing it. Love this take from @shaunmmaguire

Day 90: writing for the gym - I lost 13 lbs - not 30lbs as I had hoped. But RHR is down on a weekly average basis by 5 points, vo2 max up by 3 points but feel it’s about to pop more soon as sub 6 pace I can hold for much longer. Visible difference. The quest for another 15-20 lbs continues.

Yday, was grandfathers death anniversary, we would always go and give a lot to charity on this day.
But this time I decided to give something to myself so I can be more present to others around me - my health.
Last year has been extremely the most stressful year - taught me a lot, made me a better human but also a bigger human - gained 20 lbs.
As someone who is used to running marathons, triathlons and more - this is unacceptable.
So as a challenge - I am going to document my journey of losing not 20 lbs but 30 lbs - coz why the f not. What you don’t do with intensity and passion, you just shouldn’t.
The first 10 lbs are going to be easy - eating real food, avoiding gluten n alcohol. Should take 1 month
The next 10lbs will be hard work and might end up taking 2-3 months.
The last 10lbs is going to be endurance build - to be in race weight. This will require discipline on multiple fronts and can take 3 months or more.
Should be in time for sf marathon and incredible race shape.
