If even a fraction of the wrath that Vairamuthu gets for his random comments on Gods had come for the sexual harassment and subsequent threatening of countless young girls and women, society would have been better. If that wrath could be directed toward the countless parole of convicted rapist Ram Rahim Insaan to campaign for votes, society would have been safer and women wouldn’t be running to save themselves from gang rape. If that wrath could be directed each time the abusers of minors feature as ‘judges’ on TV shows … But yeah that that person gatham gatham etc.

We built this security cabin with #Ui panels for our guards. It took 8 panels of 8'x4'x4" size to construct it. Time taken to install, around 5 hours. The walls are thermally insulating, hence our watchman is a much happier person. It weighs around 700 Kgs. 700 kgs of plastic waste. Each home on an average creates 25 grams of non recyclable single use plastic waste per day. Ever since I heard @Chinmayi sing Mutha Mazhai, noticed the wonderful reception it got and read her own reaction, I have been wanting say something. Every single person knew and knows that @Chinmayi is a special singer and that her voice needs to be heard more and more. We also know that she has been systematically marginalised because she took on Vairamuthu and has stood her ground despite the incessant attacks. It is unforgivable if we just applaud and celebrate her in this moment and then forget or ignore all that she has and continues to endure. Loving her music must include standing with her publicly. #MeToo

So often when people come home to provide services and I offer the couch, they dont choose to sit there. I dont insist beyond once more but the exclusion is so clear in those moments :/. imagine the level of discrimination that even sitting at someones house causes discomfort.
