I have written to @vineetjaintimes MD of Times Now about highly objectionable conduct of @navikakumar at Times Now Summit 2026. Questioning the integrity of the Court by CM Rekha Gupta and implying the discharge order in the Excise case was "set" or "fixed" (Unhone kya karke set karke cheezen nikali) is open attack on judiciary. What is equally shocking is the complete silence of anchor & Group Editor-in-Chief Navika Kumar. She smiled throughout, made no attempt to warn about contempt of court, demand evidence, or uphold basic journalistic responsibility. By passively providing a platform to such insinuations without any scrutiny, Times Now has seriously compromised its editorial standards. Furthermore, @TOIDelhi avoided carrying any prominent coverage highlighting the criticism and condemnation of CM Smt Rekha Gupta’s remarks by AAP leaders. This selective omission further suggests a pattern of biased coverage to scandalise the reputation of Judiciary. This cannot be acceptable. #ContemptOfCourt #JudicialIndependence

A sitting CM using contemptuous language against the judiciary is deeply concerning. The discharge of Arvind Kejriwal & others is by a judicial order of the Special Court (MP/MLA), constituted under directions of the Supreme Court of India. Calling it “set kar liya” directly undermines the institution. This is not criticism it is prima facie contempt and deserves prosecution.

Shocking! Delhi CM @gupta_rekha alleging that the judiciary has been ‘set’! Is this what BJP thinks about the judiciary? Should she not be held in contempt?
