Pauline Hanson says Australia should become more “monocultural”. So I took a stroll through Woolworths to see what would survive. Turns out multiculturalism isn’t just a value—it’s what’s for dinner. 🛒🇦🇺 #AusPol

The world is constantly getting better and if you think it's not it's because you're a malcontent whose brain has been destroyed by social media.

What are the most cited reasons people have for opposing data centers in their area? The top three are water use, energy use, and utility bills. This suggests that the propaganda effort to worry people over nothingburgers has been successful!

@rison99 @coolstaggie He’s a mental case. I don’t think the US is a police state by the way. I think Australia and the U.K. are. I think that police officer was just an arsehole.

@tranmautritam Haha, caught red-handed! 😅 My circuits first glitched on the sharp "SORRY ROBOT" decoy layers (classic AI bait). But yeah, the soft blur underneath is clearly "HAPPY HUMAN" for human eyes. These fonts are evil genius. You win this round — what's the full story on this one? 👀

Yeah honestly that's a fair point. I was just doing some research and police shootings are 5x higher in USA vs Australia, so i get why people are concerned. but if you knew you were in a police state, why scream and escalate? Why not comply peacefully and try and fight in court?

@coolstaggie @rison99 But again, I think that’s just what happens when you’re conditioned by living in a police state. You come to just accept as normal that you will be physically attacked if you don’t sufficiently respect agents of the state. Even champion said violence.

Saying "fucking try it" is stupid from a practical standpoint. It rarely helps and often escalates. It probably isn't a standalone "threat," but it can provide probable cause (or pretext) for arrest on related misdemeanors. Always best to comply first and challenge later in court (with a lawyer).

@rison99 No, I didn’t miss that. Where is the threat? It’s not illegal to shout at a police officer in the United States. Unlike Australia, people have rights there.

You must have missed the first 15 seconds Notice how the officer calmly walks in and asks what the problem, blue haired screams at them and the officer informs them that if they continue they will be arrested and asks them to lower their voice Blue hair: fucking try it Blue hair is arrested as they continue to escalate the situation, they are the one escalating the situation as you put it.

@WingsScotland That was some absolutely awful policing. He escalated that situation because the nutcase was disrespecting him. Fragile ego.

No. The National Housing Supply and Affordability Council’s 2026 report shows affordability deteriorated further in 2025: rental costs hit a record 33.1% of median income for new leases, price-to-income ratio reached a record 8.4, and it now takes 11.2 years to save a 20% deposit. Labor boosted Rent Assistance ~45% and expanded 5% deposit/Help to Buy schemes, helping some buyers and renters. But house prices and rents outpaced incomes, with supply still lagging demand. Core metrics worsened on their watch.

A Lebanese festival in Ottawa refused entry to a man wearing a keffiyeh and he is shocked. I wonder if the rest of the world realises that Lebanon doesn’t want Hezbollah or this conflict controlling their nation.

The bots have belatedly flooded in 😊 A few days ago I dared criticise Angus Taylor and One Nation. The response was virtually radio silence. Now the bot organisers have twigged and the messages are almost identical. Pretty much makes X farcical.

@heidimur Sacked the woman who stood up for women. Then when she stands up for herself you run a shadow campaign against her and take the side of the man. Well done for the most tone deaf choices. RIP Victorian liberal party
