I was asked how my teaching job was going in my new district from a former admin. I can’t say enough about the amazing district I’m in. The response, “It’s because it’s a small district.” 🤔but in reality it’s their mindset! Happy teachers make happy kids!

School boards set policies, allocate budgets, and guide the direction of education. But without building strong relationships with the superintendent and district staff, it means little. True leadership starts with trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. Relationships begin at the board level and extend throughout the entire district, creating an environment where everyone—admin, teachers, students, and staff—can succeed. @NSBAPublicEd

I applied for my first grant & got it! I’m so excited! Something I’ve always wanted to in my former district but never got the chance. So grateful for the support to represent the equity & inclusion of ALL Ss & show the awesome teaching & learning that happens in our school!
