I'm really impressed with the quality and fidelity of Battlefield 6's new Season 2 maps. The standard is far beyond what I expected based on Season 1's additions. However I still don't believe 2 maps per season is enough, especially when those maps are segregated and released apart from one another. The fatigue of playing one new map at a time vs 4 maps in one go extremely noticeable. It also encourages a "throwaway" nature with the content where it's consumed quickly and then the game moves on. EA and Battlefield Studios would do well to increase the map count to 3 or 4 per season moving forwards. There has to be a balance somewhere between the quality of Season 2's maps and the quantity Battlefield fans expect, which is more than 2 per season.

@BFBulletin It's crazy to me that a player would complain inside of a Discord channel when the only thing the devs have access to is roll is the bug fixes.🤦‍♂️ This is something that the player needs to get in touch with EA Support for further assistance if the fill out fix didn't resolve. 🤷‍♂️

UPDATE: Regarding the missing Season 2 Battle Pass and the EA App outage compensation in #Battlefield6. Battlefield's Global Community Manager (Ganslinger43) says if you haven't received anything yet, you're most likely not eligible to receive any further compensation. "All I can tell you is that the items have all been rolled out. There was a delay rollout of the XP boosters, which took several weeks to fix. But if you haven't received anything for Season 2, you were not eligible for that item [Battle Pass]." Ganslinger43 claims that they haven't shared the details about the criteria for being (or not) eligible to receive the compensantion - It's worth pointing out that the official statement clearly says S2 Battle Pass would be granted to impacted players who purchased the Phantom Edition - and "I don't think that will change." "The job has been done, it just doesn't impact all players that thought they would be impacted."

@GravitonJanitor @BFBulletin No. This is part of the compensation for the EA App outages at launch. They said they'd give the boosters AND the S2 Battlepass. They only gave the boosters and are now refusing to give the S2 Battlepass.

The Highguard layoffs, like many others, are a sad reminder of the economic instability of an industry that asks the world but promises little. That said, blaming one man for showing a trailer on his telly show is a sophomoric take that shows little understanding of industry!
