@rjVACHAS In India being born in Kerala is the greatest privilege.

The closest cardiologist to where I work is 120 kms away, learning POCUS isn't a choice for me, it's a necessity! Thankful for the wonderful workshop I attended over the weekend @8566288d9abc491, @DrDiveshArora still learning but trying my best. #MedTwitter #India

Guess what, This is Residency- Juniors are meant to agree to whatever Seniors write on the Group !! U should just Reply with- "OK Sir !! Ok Sir !!" What kinda Childish Reaction is this that if we don't reply to a Single Message, Strict action will be taken !! #MissRadioRants

#letsendtoxicity Super-speciality doctors in south India are being financially strangled. In Karnataka: ➡️ SS govt seat fee: ₹2.25 lakh/year ➡️ Stipend: ₹70K/month in cities like Bangalore In Tamil Nadu: ➡️ Stipend: ₹51–53K/month ➡️ Rent alone: ₹30K+ Private colleges? Fees ₹10–40 LAKHS, stipend still peanuts. These are NOT students. These are highly trained doctors saving lives daily. Many are married, supporting families — yet forced to depend on parents even after Masters. Worked like machines in PG. No savings. Now super-speciality = financial punishment? What kind of system expects doctors to survive — let alone grow — like this? @NMC_IND @MoHFW_INDIA — fix this hypocrisy. #MedTwitter #ResidentDoctors #DoctorBurnout #MedicalEducation #HealthcareCrisis #StopExploitation

According to some senior doctors-postgraduate doctors learn more: - During 14-hour daily duties - In a toxic environment - Amid violence at the workplace - When seniors hurl abuses for not completing work - When you don’t take any holidays for years - When you have to pay for the entire department’s food every day - When you are humiliated in front of patients daily for missing even minor tasks - When even ward boys taunt you for not finishing work - When you are not allowed to take lunch or dinner on time Some doctors expect you to learn in an environment where you are struggling just to survive.

1/2 Dear Friends, I never wanted to become a doctor. I always wanted to write and tell stories. And yet, over the years, medicine gave me the most extraordinary stories I could never have imagined - stories that lived in hospital corridors, outpatient rooms and inside terrifying ICUs; in the trembling hands of a father carrying his jaundiced daughter, in the silence between a prognosis spoken and a family's world shattered. Today, I am proud and deeply moved to announce my first book, The Liver Doctor: Stories of Love, Loss and Regeneration, published by @HarperCollinsIN . This book is where my two worlds finally collide. My childhood love for writing and telling stories. And my adultdhood, as a medical doctor. Through the lives of real patients and their families - their courage, their grief, their impossible choices - I tell the story of the most misunderstood, most indispensable, and only self-regenerating organ in the human body: the liver. But this is not just a medical book. It is a journey through ancient myth and modern science, through Prometheus and Wilson's disease, through Mesopotamian clay tablets and liver transplant waiting lists, through the history of healing itself. I wrote it for doctors, so they may remember why they chose this life. I wrote it for patients and families, so they may know when to fight and when to find peace. I wrote it for myself, to make peace with what I have lost and what I will lose. This book shoulders that one truth I have learned in all my years at the clinical bedside: I did not become a doctor to help people cheat death, but to help them understand it. This book is my offering - to medicine, to storytelling, and to you. Lose yourself in these pages, as I have. Pre-orders are open now The Liver Doctor : Stories of Love, Loss and Regeneration - amzn.in/d/0duTenmW

Mitral Valve Complex🧐 👉Understanding the mitral complex starts with anatomy: leaflets, annulus, chordae, and papillary muscles function as one unit. 👉Accurate interpretation of mitral valve motion requires integrated assessment of the entire subvalvular and annular apparatus. @AEPCcongenital @iamritu @WGACHDChair @CASivaram1 @alexsfelixecho @echoleolopez @loomba_rohit @alex1708ander @SIwa23288585
