The yearling bulls were covered in frost but are still looking great today.

@HappyCamperAz This is a pure bison herd. Actually there are very very few bison cattle hybrids

We found a big Snowy Owl while we were out doing chores this morning. It’s definitely brisk out here today, it must be really warm under all those feathers !!!

We had an unbelievable week @Agribition We won the Premier Exhibitor Trophy! We were really fortunate to raise an exceptional group of bison this year on the ranch!

Found a black tailed weasel while we were out opening up water holes for the buffalo this morning!

Hard water season is here! We’ll have to go chop open water holes until we get some snow.

This cow is doing a great job of raising her heifer calf. I’m really impressed with the frame and build on all of our calves this fall.

It’s been an unreal end to the month here. The bison heifers are out on stockpiled grass and the dung beetles are going crazy!

We rotated the bison heifers out onto another chunk of stockpiled grass this afternoon. We’ll start moving them closer to headquarters when it snows.
