College baseball is one big test of character. If you let other people’s opinion of you dictate your own self-belief, you’re done. Don’t let others define you. Put the work, then play with complete confidence and fire. Preparation and discipline beat doubt every day of the week.

Assuming I take a college coaching position in the future, I truly will not care about your exit velo, launch angle, etc. I WILL care about your desire to win, your passion for being a great teammate, and of course your ability to produce game winning results.

Players..."Pro Prospects"...YOU will be a reflection on the scout that signs you. He will vouch for your ability, but more importantly your make-up, work ethic, and toughness. He will SELL you to the organization. YOU are his guy; YOU have a responsibility to come as ADVERTISED!
