When SRG was made, it was because i felt like our region was overlooked by many. Yes people heard about the players but we weren’t given the chance to show how good we are until our first major in Sweden 2021, and i thought it was our time to show the world the potential of this region. No more being overlooked, the world saw the potential we have. And more and more players started playing the game seriously in MENA. Perfect examples are rw9, kiileerz and NWPO, but there are many more because of all the work we did in the beginning. No team outside of EU/NA have won a major, and no team outside of EU/NA have reached the finals of worlds. Also the first ever 1v1 champion of the world is our own. With this decision i feel the same feeling i felt back then, like we’re back to square one and its unacceptable..
