This is a major step forward for bus riders in Philly who will have access to restrooms, a sheltered waiting area, and accessibility for riders with disabilities. Transit riders advocated for years to make today possible. ☀️🚰 5thsqadvocacy shared water on hot summer days with bus riders and amplified their voices. ♿ libertycil and adaptphilly conducted an accessibility review of the current Spring Garden bus terminal and advocated for riders with disabilities. 📣 After Greyhound's bus terminal closed in 2023, hundreds of transit riders like you spoke up advocating for a safe, accessible, and dignified station that Philly deserves. While we still have work to do, today's action shows the power that riders and leaders across our city have to get big things done.
