Reeling in a new fishing rod for the Angler's Almanac mod: This time reclaimed from the bottom of a coral reef! I went back and changed the spool to a more modern reel design to signify the higher tier of the rod. Keep an eye out in future mod updates! #Hytale #HytaleModding

Here how easy it is to add an item to my fishing mod loot pool with full control of not just the zone or biome, but also weather, moon phase, y level and even how deep the water should be. All inside the asset editor.

@rm20killer @xFaria96 @Simon_Hypixel If you are open to suggestions from strangers, you could to like page tabs on the side that bring you to it. I noticed the biomes pages so you could have tabs to each of those and the glossary to hop between them quickly. Lorewise be like the player marked their book.

@BrokenSerenity @HytaleAlerts Here is a question: what would you want in fishing that would make it fun for you? With this mod, in the future, there will be many different minigames you can turn on/off, so we could try to add something that would make you a fan of fishing, if possible.

@HytaleAlerts @rm20killer not usually a fan of fishing in games, but this is something i think genuinely should be considered for the main game...folks will want to fish so ya may aswlel give them something cool like this to track things with.

@Hexer3 @xFaria96 @Simon_Hypixel So it probably takes me a bit longer to set up and do, but it will fit the theme I was going for with the book feeling player made while being useful especially when there are different sections like zone 1 caves, zone 4 jungle etc.

@Hexer3 @xFaria96 @Simon_Hypixel I was thinking of this when I was flipping through 15+📄. I know this would hurt UX but I would want the tabs to also feel a part of the book so the tabs would all be stacked on the right side when you first open the book but they move to the left depending on if you went past it

@wdtfshi @Simon_Hypixel Fair. I'm used to server side modding in Minecraft so I don't see the drawbacks as much, I have been hitting roadblocks like it quite complex setting up custom names & descriptions per item. But I do understand especially with how much you can change with clients side mods in mc.

@rm20killer @Simon_Hypixel Ya I wasn't, and am not, happy with the current modding tools hytale has so it's on pause indefinitely, maybe forever, depending on how hytale modding continues to be developed. The lack of client-sided modding pushes me away from wanting to mod it any further

@EspaguetiCoder @Simon_Hypixel I haven't tried any of the boat mods yet, but with some of the fish needing deep ocean, probably a good idea for a boat mod.
