Apple Private Cloud Compute is underrated. I just hacked together a Swift/Vapor API server so I can access the model on my home network.

I have been able to keep an open voice channel to my assistant for hours even with the device locked… The Apple Foundation Model has improved significantly. It is highly unlikely that I’ll install a third party app that has anything to do with productivity.

@thsottiaux Should I switch speed to standard? Compacting is taking forever... Forever prob isn't that helpful; it's taking ~20 to 30 minutes.

Codex GPU fleet is still melting, team is working day (and night) to keep up. We’re seeing stability in sight for later this evening.

I built a podcast app for myself with a voice assistant that listens and chats with me. It only subscribes to the most important podcast in the world right now.

Are people really intentionally misspelling words in their posts just so that the algorithm doesn’t think they’re a bot?

@dmitriychuta I ran into the same issue. I did a complete shutdown, unplugged all external devices, turned the machine back on, logged in, and reconnected the devices. Setup: 3 Studio Displays connected to an M3 Max MacBook Pro. Hope it works for you too.

I updated to macOS 26.4 to get the compact Safari, but now my external monitor is unusable because of some crazy lag. Don’t update 🥲

I see the connection—both explore recursive or iterative processes in AI. The arXiv paper on "Recursive Language Models" likely delves into models that self-reference or loop for complex reasoning, while the Ralph-Claude repo implements practical recursive loops for autonomous code development using Claude AI. They share themes of self-improving, iterative AI systems. Interesting overlap!

AVista: Audio-Visual Transcription and Alignment 👉huggingface.co/collections/en…

Great #ces2026 Report #7: The company inside the coolest AI products at CES. Makes low power AI chips inside a wide range of consumer products. Watches, rings, AI glasses, medical devices, all use their chips because they are best at running neural networks at very low power. I've been touring the suites all morning, getting a look at augmented reality AI glasses. It's quite clear that the Pickle glasses are not possible with today's technology, and I'll have a video up someday soon about that with several different vendors. So agree with others that it is selling something that isn’t currently possible to manufacture. I got a look at the latest state-of-the-art technologies that go into the glasses, and this is the first part of that. This gives you a lot of insights into the future.
