@KingsyAVFC We've not had a legitimate alternative regular starter in the centre forward position all season - so a better team with him in it by default. I would expect him to keep his place ahead of Abraham too though FWIW.

How does anyone come on this platform and slag Watkins off? You know fuck all about footy if you cant see how good and how important he is at Villa. Might not play well throughout 90 minutes, but my word his output is class.

@KingsyAVFC Yeah I saw that stat, which is very surprising. But it's too simplistic to say that means he is playing well. For the majority of matches he has been sluggish, untidy and out of sorts
