Току-що Народното събрание гласува решение да задължи Министерски съвет да внесе … в Народното събрание законопроект за ратификация на т.нар. Устав на т.нар. Съвет за мир на г-н Тръмп. (По-точно гласуваха ГЕРБ, ДС-Ново начало и ИТН. Но резилът е за цялата нация.) Това е правен и политически абсурд - най-малкото защото решението е формулирано “по инициатива на САЩ”. А такава инициатива няма и не може да има - защото САЩ не са ратифицирали и съответно не са страна по този “устав”. И още повече - защото на НС и на обществото не е представен превод на български език на този срамен за всеки българин “устав”. Което предполага и че голяма част от гласувалите хабер си нямат какво точно са гласували. Разбира се, това “решение” няма никаква правна стойност. Но то има значителни - и изцяло негативни - политически последици за България. То затваря, не, затръшва пред нас вратите на “първата скорост” в Европа, на Европейския отбранителен съюз, вероятно и на плана на г-н Макрон за разширяване на френския “ядрен чадър”. Има и една добра новина - това гласуване изпари всички илюзии, че проевропейските демократи в България, реформаторската десница в България, сме в една идеологическа или геополитическа лодка с ГЕРБ или с ДС-Ново начало. По какъв начин ГЕРБ ще обяснят гласуването си в ЕНП е техен проблем. Но ще се постарая да разбера - защото това гласуване ангажира и цялата ЕНП, и по-важно - всички българи…

Jarosław Kaczyński has just made a huge gamble that will shape Polish politics all the way to the 2027 parliamentary election. By backing Przemysław Czarnek as Law and Justice’s candidate for prime minister, Kaczyński has decided where he thinks the party’s future lies. PiS is losing voters on its right flank. Support has been leaking to Konfederacja and to Grzegorz Braun’s movement, and in some polls PiS is now approaching the psychologically dangerous 20 percent mark. Czarnek is meant to stop that drift. He is one of the most hardline figures in PiS, an ultraconservative culture warrior who speaks the language of the nationalist right. In Kaczyński’s thinking, he is the politician best placed to fight Sławomir Mentzen, Krzysztof Bosak and Braun for that electorate. The decision effectively sidelines former PM Mateusz Morawiecki and his more moderate faction inside the party. The internal divide between the two camps has been growing for months, and this move risks deepening it further. So Kaczyński has made his choice. Fight for the radical right first. Deal with the internal consequences later.

Инициативата на Еманюел Макрон за разширяване на обхвата на френските ядрени гаранции е най-важната новина за европейската сигурност от разширяването на НАТО насам. До момента, желание за участие в тази инициатива са заявили 7 държави-членки на ЕС - Белгия, Нидерландия, Германия, Полша, Дания, Швеция и съседна Гърция. Инициативата е отворена. От Демократи за силна България сме убедени, че България има интерес да бъде част от тези допълнителни гаранции за сигурност. Самата инициатива има интерес да включва района на Черно море. Този въпрос трябва да бъде решен в рамките на широк национален консенсус, а не да бъде елемент от предизборна кампания. Затова днес с председателя на ДСБ Атанас Атанасов предложихме да бъде свикан КСНС, който да търси обща национална позиция по темата. Предлагаме на Президента Йотова да покани и представители на коалицията “Прогресивна България”, която е сигурен участник в бъдещото Народно събрание. Такъв прецедент вече има (РБ през 2014г.) и е важно да се постигне съгласие между всички основни политически сили.
