The only story implication of the Cortana moments is so you don't forget about her, because literally if it weren't for those moments you wouldn't even remember about Cortana.
This is the game where Cortana is most useless, the story could have been exactly the same without her.

@TheConnorDawn The Cortana / Gravemind moments have thematic reasoning and story implications. H4 reusing the buttons just shows off their inability to create engaging levels and how often they reuse assets / level design features. It’s a game design issue not just a animation time waster
