I saw Bryan Alvarez report that The New Day was asked by TKO to restructure their seven-figure deals, and they declined. They then asked to leave, with WWE ultimately granting their releases due to dissatisfaction with the new terms. If that report is accurate, this looks like a money issue more than anything else. Honestly, I wouldn’t blame them for that decision, especially knowing Tony Khan would likely pay them just as much, if not more.
