I like Alan Jackson more than George Strait, but when it comes to a whole decade (90s), I prefer neither over a lot of other 90s artists like Travis Tritt, Joe Diffie, Clint Black, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Lawrence, etc.

@AldenRiver79959 @Hunter7___ I grew up hearing it as him simply being a gentleman, but perspective changes as you get older. Now I read it more like a smooth playboy line -maybe even a little manipulative -which is funny because that doesn’t really fit George at all in real life.
