@drivebuddyAI has been awarded a patent for in-vehicle facial recognition technology. The system accurately identifies drivers inside moving vehicles in real-time. For fleet operators, the use cases are immediate: attendance tracking, impersonation prevention, fatigue management, and duty-hour compliance, all of which depend on knowing who is behind the wheel. The latest patent adds to a portfolio of 15+ patents spanning computer vision, edge processing, and cognitive risk assessment technologies.

Just returned from the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. There’s an incredible sense of optimism around AI in India— not just as a technology shift, but as a tool to improve lives at scale. India has the scale, ambition, and talent density to be one of the top countries in both applied and fundamental AI research, alongside the U.S. and China.
