@Arvee2024 @ThoNg676733 I don't believe that's the case here as they were both released at the same time. For whatever reason, Middle of the Road's version of this Lally Stott song caught on in the UK, while M&K Kissoon's version got traction on North American airwaves.

@LawProfHolloway Still not as many historic buildings as I would have liked (the old Hotel Vancouver comes to mind), but certainly, preserved areas such as Gastown and Yaletown are gems.

Vancouver has done rather a better job at integrating old buildings with new than Calgary has.

@CitiesGlobal12 Interestingly, no snow accumulated this winter in Vancouver (just a couple of days with passing flurries that didn't stick to the ground). While snow is fairly rare and rarely lasts long, the city usually receives 1-2 significant dumps of snow a winter. Not this year.
