It’s day 2 and our focus is: why occupations matter! Why do we need occupations in our lives? What is it that makes them so important? #OTWeek23

This week we are thinking about occupation in the context of occupational therapy. ‘Occupations are any activity that we need, want or like to do to live and to look after our physical and mental health. They can be self-care, productive or leisure’. #OTWeek23

Our B5OTs & student OTs have had 2 days of teaching from guest speakers we work with in the acute. Here's OT Argi being shown mirror therapy by specialist Hand Therapist Darren. Managed to dodge the ☔ with a hospital scavenger hunt to find different wards/departments on site!
