@eoinbara Yes, I’ve seen this come up a number of times with the M chips as they only support one screen, (Apple dont admit to this) but you won’t need to return it! You’ll have to use a display link to power the 2 screens. I’ll send you through some links of suitable gear to make it work
English

@Clearpreso I have 2 and I was away, and a dog ate my lead, so I had to buy a new one to see me through the rest of the trip. The super handy upside is you can fix in the flex to your desk and just slip the block out when you’re working on the go.
English

@PaulSweeney @AppleSupport Just remember to install the display link driver, and enable screen recording (like you do for share screen on zoom) before you panic it’s not working. Doesn’t matter what brand you buy, as long as it’s the display link software on it. You can’t use two hdmis off the same USB
English

@robbieskuse @AppleSupport Thanks again Robbie, just checking with my own internal person here at Webio to see if this looks like a solution, and then off to the races with me :)
English

Apple MacBook Pro 2022 M1 Chip now not only does not support two external monitors, it doesn’t even support one! #knownIssue @AppleSupport beware folks. Might be better to wait a year if you are thinking of upgrading. I would 100% advise against it right now.

@adrianweckler Not much wrong with 4G speeds in Dublin. 294 download is fast enough for all needs

English

@PaulSweeney @AppleSupport For the docking station maybe this amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GK13GHQ/… or amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FF6VMSF/…
English

@PaulSweeney @AppleSupport I use this adapter: amazon.co.uk/dp/B08SVTY42W/…
Then anything with the official Display Link should work as docking station (they come in usb Type-C now so you could straight to this- one DVI one HDMI )
You do need to install the display link extension and enable screen record
English

@martinmeany Sounds like it to me, only think to check would be to make sure you don’t have constant record settings on. I have facial recognition and zone events recording.
English

@martinmeany I get 10 weeks easily from mine, have a zone to just my entrance, but still get 5-10 triggers in that a day.

Fantastic news for a really exciting start-up. I constantly think of the need for this service since @DeeCoakley told me about it over lunch 2 years ago. Boundless has a really talented founding team and will go far. Delighted for them #irishbiz #fundraise #startup

@donal_cahalane @patphelan 😂😂 if that was the brief, then you’ve signed up to the right service! (PS- Let me know how the Beta it’s going as I’m still curious)

@robbieskuse @patphelan Embrace the chaos Robbie! Pat needs the challenge of doing business with one hand tied behind his back 😂
English

@patphelan @donal_cahalane It’s a terrible idea, I did an Apple Beta programme once before, and the bugs are so frustrating! I know that’s the idea, but it slows all your workflows down

@PaulSweeney @webioHQ I sure do, it’s much harder than you guys make it look. Assume that’s down to a great product and a great team. #upwardsandonwards
