@RetirementTales When I was teaching, there was a politically correct sweep of the library and all the Pirate books were sent to the skip. I rescued them and hid them at the back of the bookcase in my classroom. Some of my poor readers loved them, when they were told they had been banned.

The Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebration. This so reminds me of my drumming in the #BoysBrigade Days (Birmingham 1st A). We always tried to take the drums to church, even when marching live on a Sunday around #Newtown, Birmingham. A little jazz & Caribbean tempo was thrown in too.
