A quick look into the work our mappers do: These pillars of some aqueducts start out as a blocky heightmap and is then decorated with lots of little details. That can take quite some time, and is done for all of these! Game is #AlabasterDawn, play the demo on Steam!

@TheRetroHQ @MisterAddons But with triple buffer enabled you will even get slight stuttering when your system outputs 59.9 Hz (it will then drop a frame every few seconds to sync with 60 Hz - it's very annoying if you are sensitive to it).

@TheRetroHQ @MisterAddons Motion always looks a bit blurry on lcds unless you use black frame insertion but you can get proper 50 Hz on lots of them. If you use a Tink try to disable triple buffer and if that's not enough try to enable freesync.

@MisterAddons Given I’m being forced to use an lcd and upscaler at the moment, I definitely value what a CRT brings to the table! Totally different feel. Especially running 50hz stuff, the judder on lcd’s is terrible.
