Today, we were honoured to host a team from @ADCinUganda at @SNVinUganda Country Office. Together with the Country Director, @PhomoloMM, and #SWaSSH4A Project Manager, John Robert Okello, the team discussed the joint work in the water sector.

#WASH: The cornerstone for achieving the NDP IV Objectives #SWaSSH4A project is participating in the 14th Annual Civil Society Organisations WASH Forum 2024. The project contributes to the agenda by increasing access to basic water supply, sanitation & hygiene in Lango region.

As part of her visit to Uganda, the @AustrianDev Program Manager Irene Novotny together with @Dr_KatjaK met with the hand pump mechanics & visited the #WASH project of @SNV_Uganda aimed at increasing access to clean water, sanitation & hygiene in Apany Acel Village, Lira.

In transitioning rural to urban areas access to high #WASH infrastructure investments may not be possible in the short term. But services need to be delivered. JR Okello argues that rather than wait for resources to come, realistic water safety planning must take place now.
