@ChelsTransfer Makes no difference unless we address he core problem which lies with the owners and the Sporting Directors. That’s where the change is needed.
English

@henrywinter @FootyBoardroom The owners at #Chelsea are not focused on winning trophies as the previous owner was. The current owners had the ambition to be a top four team (I think that’s now more of a desire). The operating model, however, is one that creates no more than a top eight team. There’s the rub.
English

…some perspective needed: Chelsea could still finish in the UCL places & win the Cup (if unlikely). But the story of the Blues is worrying. Christian Purslow and I take a look at his old club in the latest @FootyBoardroom 2/2

@htafctb @Hobjim7104 @OrientOutlook Yes - but in effect it was a ‘free’ kick in a dangerous position. Strange decision. But there we are. We move on.
English

@robert_west_ @Hobjim7104 @OrientOutlook It wasn’t a free kick- it was a drop ball after play stopped to treat the head injury whilst town had the ball.
English

What a terrible ending. Huddersfield Town scored the winning goal in the 116th minute!
Thoughts? #lofc
English

@Hobjim7104 @OrientOutlook Really?! Then I stand corrected. TV said and showed 8 added minutes. As an aside - odd decision to in effect give Huddersfield a free kick after the game was stopped for a head injury.
English

@robert_west_ @OrientOutlook was at the game 14 minutes were put up on the 4th officials board.
English

@BBCWYS How did the referee find another eight minutes on top of the eight added as additional time? We need to take the lead from rugby and have a clock that is stopped so everyone can see why time is being added. The ref at this game seemed to be playing winning goal!

@SkySportsNews Isn’t this just a manipulation from both sides to trick the fans into accepting a transfer that both player and club want to happen?
English

@Rootz_TV Something going very wrong with #nonleague this season. Scenes more akin to Sunday league matches and at the other end ultras causing havoc at grounds. Need to nip this in the bud @FootballAssoc otherwise the good work that’s been done over the last few years will quickly unravel

ONLY IN NON LEAGUE! 😄

I’d say so. One more win and @leytonorientfc can look forward to welcoming teams like Sheffield Wednesday and perhaps even Leicester next season. A solid performance, cautious at times but understandably so.

@henrywinter Wow! That Elliot Anderson is younger than I thought!
English

No Watkins, Trent, Shaw.
Maguire, Mainoo, Calvert-Lewin, Solanke, Tomori return. Steele, Garner called up. Very significant squad, 35 names, World Cup 26 comes from this. #ENG

English

@SJohnsonSport Do you remember when there was talk of Jude Bellingham signing for Chelsea next season? There’s no way any top player would want to play for this club atm. Meanwhile the half decent ones - Enzo, Neto, Palmer are understandably plotting their exits. Sad times.
English

@ChelseaFC Goalkeeper error once again lost us the momentum and ultimately this game. PSG had the quality in depth that Chelsea sadly lack.
English

@ChelseaFC Put out championship players against a championship team.
What did you expect?

Wrexham retake the lead. Windass.

#CollegesWeek2026 spotlight today: apprenticeships for all ages. As debate grows over what an apprenticeship is, let’s define its purpose. 50 years ago they led young people into trades—do we go back, or evolve for today’s more diverse economy?
English

We were all young once. But would you want to be young today?
Let’s celebrate the young people pushing forward anyway - navigating a volatile world that offers too little support, even less guidance - and yet still making it happen. #LoveourColleges

Day two of #CollegesWeek2026 and today we're celebrating young people. Young people are building essential skills, growing in confidence, and forging bright futures at colleges across the country. #LoveOurColleges

It’s #CollegesWeek! This year’s theme is skills for all, and today shines a light on adult learners.
Let’s use this week to recognise the value of lifelong learning and the vital role our under-resourced colleges play. #LoveOurColleges

Today’s renewed commitment to supporting learners with #SEND is welcome. To make a real difference though we also need to have sustained investment in those delivering these reforms - teachers, support staff and of course parents themselves.

Labour believes every child must have the chance to achieve and thrive. We are determined to break the link between background and success. That's why we’re investing in better, earlier support for our children at school and reforming the SEND system for good.
English

@NoContextEPL I was at the game. Think the frustration was with the Team performance, the chances he missed, and the injury he seemed clearly to be carrying.
English

The Chelsea forward didn’t hide his frustration at being withdrawn….

SEND debate heating up as govt hesitates on White Paper & reforms. Key point: systems run into trouble when they focus more on where pupils are taught than the support they receive. #specialeducation schoolsweek.co.uk/looking-overse…
