@mike_couzens Agreed, they should be able to put some kind of ball in with the weaker foot. But we were so much more positive when Rashford and then Palmer ran at their defence. There’s a time and place, depending on opposition for both I suppose.

@robertcleary84 Don’t get me wrong, Rob, I’m a fan of that era Spain and that type of football for the most part but surely in the final third when getting in behind the defence players need to be able - and have it in their mind - to cross the ball quickly with either foot? 🤷‍♂️

Why is it so many of our talented and technically gifted attacking players won’t cross the ball with their weaker foot? Opportunities squandered…..
