@GionoH @AHart1974 @EssexPR Nope, please read the college of UK policing guidelines on Taser usage & deployment. It's initially a 5 second shock, which can be extended for longer if the trigger is held down or can be triggered multiple times to deliver a number of 5 second shocks to incapacite someone.

@JackHill_Prison You have no idea about who I am or what I believe & I've neither the time nor the inclination to keep banging my head against a brick wall talking to dummies on here. So I'll leave you to your hot takes & back of a fag packet philosophy

If you're pro police you would be cheering for these two brave individuals. Pro police my arse. Everything you've said suggests you have no appreciation or understanding of the job. Go and speak with your Dad. They are on shit wages, poor equipment, two men trying to fight a terrorist with a knife in hand to hand combat after he had stabbed two people. If you think that's a normal situation that they train for, you're massively mistaken. These men are heroes for what they did. If you were one of the people that got stabbed or you knew one of them, you would have a totally different take. And that's the problem, you lack perspective, experience and understanding of situations like this. Captain hindsight over here trying to advise police on anti terrorism detainment methods 🤣 What would you have suggested they did differently? If someone wants to be violent, you can't control them, that's nothing to do with the police. The only way to gain control in those situations is pure force. That's why they did. And they were probably terrified doing it.

@JackHill_Prison Believe it or not, I'm pro-police as my father served for 30 years in the police. My posts are not about bashing the police, but pointing out that in my opinion they lost control of the situation. The replies from some on here are off the charts in terms of right-wing rhetoric.

So if you have no problem with conflict. Why would you not use it in this situation? Because you're scared of how it might effect your father son relationship? Hypothetically, you're son already effected it by acting like a careless psychopath stabbing people. And deserves firstly to be neutralised, and then punished harshly. People need order and rules, otherwise it's just pure chaotic tribalism. I don't understand a good reason to not beat your adult son if he did something like this, to help police detain him whilst he is hurting people. Are you just very against the police? Or are you pro terrorism?

@robertferg33775 @AHart1974 @EssexPR He was not immobilised with the taser, his arms could still and were flailing round, and could still stab people. What is wrong with this situation is that the victims could not shoot the person trying to murder them.

You punish bad behaviour. This is as bad as it gets. I get the impression that you're just a coward, too afraid of conflict and violence to do anything about it. Be a better father and learn how to discipline, or all your kids will grow up to be little shits, with no emotional control and no understanding of personal accountability and responsibility, and I'm guessing you can't do that either. Your kids deserve better than who you are now. He did wrong. He gets beaten until the threat is neutralised and then punished severely.

@alexbloodfire @EssexPR I didn't say they weren't. I just stated they lost control.of the situation & forgot their training. The civilian disarmed the knife guy, & showed more control & didn't get the red mist

@robertferg33775 @EssexPR These police officers were true heroes for detaining an active terrorist while putting their own lives on the line to protect the community!

@EssexPR If that was your son being assaulted on the ground like that, you'd be screaming blue murder. If it was black or asian police officers doing that to a white suspect you'd be kicking off about it.

@JackHill_Prison @EssexPR No, but I'm not thick enough to blithely suggest that I'd give my own son a shoeing. Be a better father, set a better example is the way not violence.

@robertferg33775 @EssexPR I've got 4 kids. If this was my son, I would phone the police on him myself. If I was there, I may join in the beating. You're too soft and dumb to be a parent or give political advice in this world.

@robertferg33775 @Talbotdolphin @EssexPR The crime is exactly the point. Unhinged bloke randomly stabbing Jewish people. Comes from an ethnic background known for suicide bomb vests, death by cop, etc etc. They did what they needed to do to get him to drop the knife. Which he'd been told to, but didn't comply.
