So, assuming Winters was an expendable surplus LB, it comes out to the value equivalent of a 4th-round pick for three years of Osa Odighizuwa at a discounted rate for the 49ers — since Dallas had just extended the DT and paid his big signing bonus the year prior

@zee1seven @LombardiHimself Trey Hendrickson is a bonafide star that could've landed them insane draft capital or at least a decent player in return with a better contract. A 5th round pick is historically a coin flip to even make the 53 man roster.

@49ersSportsTalk No. Henry Ruggs has a better chance to come back and be productive than Aiyuk does IMO. Hard enough to come back after years off, even harder when it's apparent you don't love the game enough to work yourself back.
