When my wife and I had our daughter, we were both public school teachers. We had insurance through the school system. We paid about $400 a month for insurance.
Our deductible was $14,000. My wife got 0 maternity leave - had to use all her accumulated sick days, then take unpaid time off.
These are complaints because we knew our situation and chose to have a child.
When middle class families pay for insurance and it still costs over $10,000 PLUS zero maternity/paternity leave - i think it’s fair to assume why “we’ve stopped making babies.”

I played the first Mass Effect for 6+ hours yesterday on stream & absolutely loved it! I’ve seen people say to either skip or just mainline it to get to ME2 quickly, but I don’t get it. There’s so much great lore & character depth in the first game. I can’t wait to keep going!🌠

Jordan Mason was traded for a pick swap and a 6th. That pick swap netted Marquise Sigle. Most people used that as a reason to tell us why the 49ers were right to trade Mason.
Since then the 49ers traded a 6th Round pick for Brian Robinson, spent a 5th round pick on Jordan James and a 3rd round pick on Kaelon Black.
So yes if the 49ers didn't trade Mason they wouldn't have had Sigle but they have spent way more capital trying to replace him than was necessary and we still dont even know if we have a replacement in house.
