@mykael_yuddy On behalf of critically thinking Christiansz the idea of a 60000yr old sun is 1️⃣ preposterous and 2️⃣ not a prerequisite for a proper (even fundamental) understanding of the Bible

Wow Mark Strauss had a convo with “The Passion Translation” author where Simmons confessed to him he doesn’t know Aramaic and uses a website! Reminder: You can still buy a special Bethel edition of The Passion Translation with a forward by Bill Johnson. Please don’t call me divisive for exposing this fraudulent stuff. When the gatekeepers let the barbarians in its up to anyone and everyone to sound the alarm.

@esbrockman Men, if she files for divorce she will use the kids against you. The man should tell her..."Woman, you will have full custody, and I will not be tethered to you. Good luck." It takes a strong man to do this.

🚨 OpenAI is reportedly building a phone designed to replace the iPhone. And it’s further along than anyone realized. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the same man who predicted every major Apple product cycle for 20 years, just dropped this. Important details: 1: OpenAI is partnering with Qualcomm AND MediaTek to develop custom smartphone processors, not one chip partner, but two competing giants simultaneously 2: Luxshare has been named the exclusive system co-design and manufacturing partner, the same company that assembles Apple products 3: Mass production is targeted for 2028, the hardware roadmap is already in motion 4: The phone will run OpenAI’s own OS, replacing traditional apps entirely with AI agents that complete tasks autonomously, without you ever opening a single app 5: The processor is being designed around on-device AI performance, with complex tasks offloaded to OpenAI’s cloud infrastructure for seamless integration 6: OpenAI’s core thesis: users don’t want apps, they want results. The phone will continuously understand context, habits, and preferences in real time This isn’t a gadget. It’s a direct attempt to replace the operating system layer that Apple and Google have owned for 20 years. I’m doing more research, and what I’m about to post will blow your mind. You’ll wish you followed me sooner, trust me.

Or ... wait ... you can be an evidence based historian and see that there are over 200 flood myths from all over the world with many overlapping characteristics and come to the highly likely conclusion that ... a flood happened 😱 There's this secular thing called the Younger Dryas

You can know this is not true because the Noah story is an adaptation of the older Babylonian story of Atra-Hasis that predates the writing/redaction of the Pentateuch by more than a thousand years even in its written form. Of course based on community memory, but used by the writers/redactors of the OT to capture their Deuteronomic view of “time.”

I didn't say mimicry is BAD. It just isn't the goal. Interesting connecting Isa 64:6 and James 2. If we live Christ and give Him the ground to live in us, then we don't have to mimic anything, because He is the one living. Mimicry is an outward shell without substance. The indwelling Christ, however, is real and substantive.

@robertjforrest @DeeWaynee94 Is mimicry such a bad thing? Works without faith is as filthy rags, but faith without works is dead. You will know them by their fruits; if we cannot live like Christ, if we cannot emulate his blameless life, then we cannot hope to lead others to him. Example is the best teacher.

If the things we love tell us what we are, making a tortured body the centre of your worldview is a grim little self-own. I’m fine being the one who prefers evidence, freedom, and people who are still alive.

@RandalRauser The word of the cross is foolish to those who are perishing. It's offensive to tell someone they need the Savior even if you don't poke and prod at a particular sin.

kinda Living "like" Christ is outward mimicry. The NT teaching is "for me to live IS Christ". As a result of ongoing salvation of our soul and body (beyond initial regeneration) the being sanctified Christian doesn't live more LIKE Christ but actually lives more of Christ in His own life. We live and He lives together as one living Hence Galations 2:20: I am crucified with Christ; and IT IS I LONGET I WHO LIVE, BUT IT IS CHRIST who lives in me; and THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." (Galatians 2:20) Mere outward service leads to a Matthew 7:21 experience. Salvation + service but without organic conformity to the living image of Christ.

The focus is the death and its implication because of what it means -- not the body itself. The life of Christ is undoubtedly underappreciated by Christians, but the living of Christ in itself is not what saves. It verified Christ as the spotless Lamb worthy of offering, but His death & resurrection are what accomplishes salvation for man

Sure, bro. There's this thing called Google. Educational Mobility: A landmark Brown University study found that Christian children in Africa have a 0.786 probability of surpassing their parents' level of education, compared to 0.456 for Muslim children and 0.229 for those practicing traditional indigenous religions. Literacy Rates: In countries like Nigeria, the literacy gap between religious groups can be as high as 35 percentage points, largely attributed to the historical concentration of mission-run schools in specific regions. Female Empowerment: Historical Protestant missions are statistically linked to higher female literacy and a significant delay in the average age of first marriage, which correlates with better long-term economic outcomes for women. Faith-based organizations (FBOs), the majority of which are Christian, remain the backbone of the African healthcare system. Market Share of Care:Christian associations provide approximately 30% to 70% of health infrastructure in many sub-Saharan countries Poverty Reduction: Research in regions like Benin and Ghana suggests that proximity to a historical mission (particularly Protestant) is associated with a 10% decrease in poverty and higher modern-day household income Orthography: Missionaries reduced over 350 indigenous languages to writing, creating the first grammars, dictionaries, and printed materials for many ethnic groups.
