Remarkable attempt to intimidate a reporter for attempting to gather facts about a state agency that won’t release its records - as is required under state law. Florida deserves ethically run government, not this.

We have heard that @jeffschweers with the @orlandosentinel is calling foster families in Florida and threatening or coercing them to say things about Hope Florida. This is unacceptable. The Hope Florida Foundation supported foster families with donations from non-taxpayer funded sources that allowed these families to repair and restore their homes following the hurricanes last year. The Department has sent the following cease and desist letter to the Orlando Sentinel:

Disturbing Stanford study finds climate change has reduced global wheat yields about 10%. The world now uses 550M acres to grow wheat, which suggests a swath of nature about the size of Kansas has been cleared to compensate for climate-driven yield losses.
