@kortizart @moons_artwork @arvalis @UberGooseUS One of the major issues is artist ownership in animation. A lot of the time actors have a piece of the pie, but artist often just get a work for hire pay check.

@moons_artwork @arvalis @UberGooseUS I dont know if that’s applicable to everyone there But I will say its almost criminal, that in general concept artists who have had massive impact to our culture are neither recognized nor celebrated as such, like Meinerding (for MCU) , or Christian Alzmann (for Star Wars). 😞

It’s dumb that it takes about as long as medical school to become a pro level artist and that you have to be constantly making art to stay in top form like an athlete only for people to treat artists kinda shitty comparatively. What’s the deal here
