@krystalball I guess you should read it a sixth time and read a little bit more about the case in general. It’s not too late to delete this tweet.

@RBReich Political earthquake?🤡 I thought Trump & Co were rigging elections across the country, from local & state elections all the way up to Congress. Or, you can just admit that you’re full of shit & your life has no meaning, so you try to give it meaning by posting ignorant shit on X

Last night's political earthquake in New York shows the path forward for Democrats. They must fight for populist values and stop appeasing the moneyed interests. Moving to the so-called "center" will only give us more Trumps.

@tedlieu We’ve tried your plan. It failed miserably. Deflecting won’t change the public opinion about you or people that support the same policies as you. Republicans aren’t any better. Every single person in Congress should be fired. If we replaced y'all with monkeys, we’d be better off.

America hates Donald Trump. He is an abject failure in every conceivable dimension. He is the worst President in our history. Soon, the Trump name and the Trump family will be in the dustbin of history, reviled and ridiculed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

@RepJeffries No, they’re not. Democrats, along with Republicans, have increased the price of absolutely everything in life through bad policy. You numbskulls think the deeper the government testicles get into our business, the cheaper and better everything will be. What an ignorant take.

Donald Trump is fighting with Senate Republicans. Senate Republicans are fighting with House Republicans. House Republicans are fighting with each other. Meanwhile. Democrats are fighting to build housing that everyday Americans can afford.

@MarkWarner Local, state and federal government are the main reason the price of housing has gone through the roof. Now they want to try to act like heroes by putting out lame legislation to pull back the reach and breadth of those policies? You're playing politics. GTFO!

BREAKING NEWS: Donald Trump is now REFUSING to sign our bipartisan law that would lower your housing costs. He doesn’t care about anything but enriching himself and disenfranchising voters. We will NEVER stop fighting to tackle the housing crisis.

@DarrigoMelanie What's surprising is you don’t know the definition of capitalism. We’ve been veering farther and farther off true capitalism, and instead, we now have an absolute shit ton of govt interference. The closer economies are to pure capitalism, the more everybody benefits.

We live under capitalism… where the top 1% have as much wealth as the bottom 90%… where billionaires can write-off private jets on their taxes while 70% of Americans struggle to afford food, housing and healthcare… where big businesses get bailouts but student loan borrowers don’t… It’s surprising that capitalism polls that well.

@0xDavecryps What if the water heater goes out? Is the price of a water heater today the same as it was 10 yrs ago? Does it cost the same to replace a roof now as it did 10 yrs ago? Are electricians charging the same rate/hour as they did a decade ago? What part of this are you not getting?

MY HONEST TAKE: RAISING THE RENT WITHOUT IMPROVING THE PROPERTY ISN’T AN UPGRADE, IT’S JUST A PRICE HIKE. If tenants are getting the same apartment, the same appliances, and the same maintenance, what exactly are they paying extra for?

@omgsidewalks All of a sudden you idiots care about world poverty & hunger again.🙄🤡 It's been demonstrated for most of the last century, both poverty and hunger are the direct results of government policies. Giving some third world country billions of dollars won’t solve anything.

SERIOUS QUESTION: You don’t find it weird that not a single billionaire wants to end world poverty ?? Doesn’t it strike you as bizarre that no one with that kind of wealth wants to be the hero who actually solves the world’s biggest problems when they literally could ?? Isn’t that suspicious ??

Gavin Newsom is right. Not only is the SAVE Act a voter suppression bill, but if passed, it would give the loathsome piece of shit complete control of voter rolls, where he'd be able to delete registered Democratic voters. America has never faced an enemy as dangerous as Trump.

The price for a barrel of oil today is $70. Usually when it's $70 the price for a gallon of gas in Washington State (where I'm at) is $2.80-$3.50. Well, today it's $4.79. Gas companies are RIPPING US OFF.

@BernieSanders 35 years. You saw the national debt go from $3.5T to $39T. You've been pro "out of control" spending from day one. You are a very wealthy millionaire with three homes. You "do" nothing, though, but pit Americans vs other Americans. You are a two-faced hypocrite and liar. #GFY

@RepJeffries You want to make it more affordable, chief? How about every American pay 0 taxes for the next 6 months? Let them keep their entire paycheck to catch up and save a little. Meanwhile, Congress can work together to find & eliminate all fraud and wasteful spending. C'mon, big boy!🤡

A worker making $50,000 a year contributes to Social Security on 100% of their income. A CEO making $20 million a year contributes to Social Security on less than 1% of their income. Instead of raising the retirement age, we should scrap the Social Security tax cap.
Burgess Everett@burgessev

Sens. Warren and Moreno endorse lifting Social Security payroll cap in joint op-ed "Lifting the cap so that all income is treated the same would generate substantial revenue that would extend the solvency of Social Security for another generation" nytimes.com/2026/06/23/opi…
