@airlie_bird His legacy is smashing the glass ceiling and changing the culture and belief at the club. Will have wider implications for other teams now showing it can be done. The proverbial 4 minute mile of RL challengers
@airlie_bird To be fair he made a number of finals we just got over the line in the same year numerous times. Legacy won’t be about succession planning or future success that’s the clubs job above him, as you guys have shown it’s difficult to back up successful seasons
Willie Peters will be a loss to the game in the UK. But what is his legacy. Yes a season of unprecedented success. But what's coming through? Will it be a one season high or do Rovers fans feel there is more success to come?
@MisterSlush Or they’ve just been dumped out the challenge cup by Leigh reserves for yet another season not challenging.
At least they’ve got Jon Clarke on zoom still
@JustReliq@buckley_gresham@IpswichTown Calls farage divisive in one tweet, calls reform supporters uninformed in the next.
The lack of self awareness is either very worrying or hilarious, can’t decide
@buckley_gresham@IpswichTown I think Reform supporters fall into one of two camps; uninformed or genuinely supportive of the hateful rhetoric they spout. I have sympathy for the uninformed only because the failure of the two-party system has driven them to such an extreme.
Following Monday’s visit by the Reform party and its leader, Nigel Farage, the club would like to issue the following statement:
Ipswich Town Football Club has, over several years, hosted representatives from a range of political parties. The club remains apolitical and does not support or endorse any individual or party.
The club will continue to engage with representatives from across the political spectrum as part of its role within the community.
Ipswich Town is proud to be an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming organisation that supports all members of the local and wider community. This commitment remains unchanged.
@ITFCFan1878@IpswichTown This person divides people into categories, what the Jesus of Nazareth are you talking about.
You can think he’s a dick all you want it’s your right, I’d be inclined to agree, but to make up these strange anecdotes just makes you look weird
@danohagan@IpswichTown@kickitout This post in its self is so racist it’s borderline funny.
No black person could possibly want to vote reform could they. How could they possibly come to their own conclusions, they must follow party lines.
Racist
@fcmufc17@hullfcofficial Completely agree, fairest way. Problem is it only applies to 1/2 games per year so could be cost prohibitive. Current system punishes those not finger on the button first. I’m KR so no impact on me but a couple of FC supporting mates in the same boat
@hullfcofficial Think it’s time the club started to do a ballot for the derby with such a small allocation , the more away tickets you purchase for other games the more entry’s to the ballot , not missed an away game this season so far but have missed out on derby tickets, it’s not right
Our away ticket allocation of 814 for the Rivals Round Good Friday Derby at Sewell Group Craven Park has now sold out 🚨
Thank you for your incredible support, Faithful 👏

@JacsScribbles@RobboWood@SuperLeague@onlyinRL@Six_Again Didn’t say he was mentioned in the movie. But the post was in relation to the movie release today, of the show his character was in.
Doubling down on looking like a twat is impressive to be fair
This week's SL coverage is a bit of a disgrace. Only one game apparently attractive enough to Sky for the full main channel production. A situation enabled by the move to 14 teams which has weakened the fixture schedule.
@Alex_Clarkson1 The race to make the game so quick is ruining it as a spectacle. Might as well play touch rugby
Zero nuance to tackles and everything if not off immediately is a 6 again supposedly even when you win the collision. Shite
It’s basically impossible to win a match when the referee has so much impact in a match, 3/4 times he’s blown up for a pen any nobody in the stadium thinks it’s a penalty, it’s so so easy for RL referees to influence outcomes of matches.
@JMcAllisterRL@AORugbyLeague Praying rovers agree to go again, one cos it’s unreal and two to exercise some demons.
Only an away game this time tho don’t lose the home game
Super League clubs have now been officially invited to register their interest in joining the NRL’s Las Vegas extravaganza in 2027.
