📍Bhatinda, Punjab: A tragic accident was reported from Bathinda’s Ganesh Basti area where a father and his 9-year-old daughter lost their lives after being crushed by a reversing road roller inside a narrow residential lane. Reports suggest their scooter allegedly slipped on loose gravel near a house ramp, causing both to fall onto the road just as the construction vehicle was backing up. The incident has raised serious concerns over the movement of heavy construction machinery in residential areas without proper safety measures, spotters, or controlled work zones.
